Monitor Your Restaurants on EatEasy in the UAE
EatEasy is an independent, Dubai-based food and grocery delivery app that has served the UAE since 2011 and, as of August 2026, operates in no other country. This page sets out its market, ownership and restaurant-side tools, then explains how Kitchain monitors a chain's EatEasy listings from the outside: availability, promotions, menu prices, ratings, listing position and delivery coverage.

About EatEasy
EatEasy started in 2011 as EatEasily.com, a Dubai ordering portal that at first covered only Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah; the company announced its rollout to every emirate in January 2016, when it reported 900+ restaurants and 250,000 registered users. It remains independent and privately held, run by founder and CEO Safarath Shafi through the Dubai entities Eateasily Online DMCC and EatEasily Online FZCO, with an Indian technology subsidiary in Bengaluru. No acquisition of or by EatEasy has been found as of August 2026, and the LinkedIn company page lists 51–200 employees.
The homepage claims 13K restaurants, a figure that includes groceries and other stores, and Khaleej Times reported over 10,000 restaurants at the October 2023 Oracle announcement; a page-by-page count of the live restaurant search in August 2026 shows roughly 9,000 outlet listings. Beyond restaurants, EatEasy delivers groceries, pharmacy items, cakes, flowers, meat, fruit and vegetables, gifts, gourmet goods and pet supplies, and promotes an in-app Codes (Dine In) feature. Customers order in AED, in English or Arabic, and pay by card, online, cash on delivery or Easy Points, the cashback scheme that outlets opt in to accept.
For a restaurant, EatEasy is a marketplace facilitator: under its terms the merchant sets prices, payment methods and the mode of delivery, while EatEasy enables delivery through its delivery partners in the localities it treats as serviceable. Fulfilment is therefore hybrid, the outlet's own driver or an EatEasy rider. Partners manage orders and offers in the EatEasy (Merchant) Android app, updated to v2.7.9 in May 2026, or in the rest.eateasy.ae web portal ('Eateasily.com Restaurant – Login'). The terms also make late cancellation expensive: an order cancelled more than a minute after it is placed may incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Where EatEasy operates
As of August 2026 EatEasy operates in a single country, the United Arab Emirates, where the city selector offers eight locations and the terms limit delivery to chosen districts of the cities served rather than to whole emirates. The all-emirates rollout was announced in January 2016; before that the service ran in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah only.
| Country | Since | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| United Arab Emirates | 2011 | Only market; Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah first; all emirates from 2016 |
No exited markets: no EatEasy operation outside the UAE has been found as of August 2026.
Kitchain on EatEasy: six monitors, one outside-in method
Kitchain reads the same public EatEasy pages a customer opens. There is no partner-portal login, no API key and no point-of-sale integration: you give us one listing per location, and each monitor reads what the customer is shown. Availability is checked about every 10 minutes per listing; ratings, promotions and menus are captured daily; listing position is measured at set times of day from real addresses; delivery coverage is captured for the platform and hour you book.
EatEasy downtime and availability alerts: Kitchain Alert
Live on EatEasy
EatEasy downtime is invisible from head office: the branch page — eateasy.ae/{brand}-{area}, the slug a customer lands on — simply stops being orderable, or the card drops out of the Dubai search results, and nobody in the kitchen notices. A merchant tablet left off after close, an EatEasy (Merchant) app logged out on the branch phone, or opening hours that no longer match the platform all look the same to a customer: a restaurant they cannot order from.
Kitchain Alert opens the same public EatEasy pages a customer opens, about every 10 minutes per listing, 24/7, and checks each location against the hours you gave us, so a scheduled closure is not an incident. A typical alert arrives 10–20 minutes after a location goes offline, after a confirmation check, by Email, WhatsApp or Telegram, with a daily report at 10:00 local time and an incident timeline with exact start and end times for every outage. Alert is live on EatEasy now.

EatEasy rating tracking: Kitchain Rating
Connected on request
On EatEasy the listing card shows a numeric rating on a five-point scale beside the cuisine tags and the area name, but only where a rating is available, and the app description places customer reviews on the menu itself. It is the only quality signal on the card — everything else there is price, speed or a badge — and a customer reads it against whatever the neighbouring card shows. For a chain with branches across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, EatEasy rating monitoring means a daily reading per outlet of the rating the card displays, and of the review count where the page shows it, so a slide that begins the week a packaging supplier changes has a date.
Kitchain Rating is connected on request for EatEasy: tell us the cities and brands and we set it up. Kitchain never reads or replies to review text; it records what the public page displays, once a day.

EatEasy promotion monitoring: Kitchain Promo
Live on EatEasy
Offers on EatEasy reach customers in three places: a percentage badge (EatEasy writes it '20 % Off') on the restaurant card, the Promotions tab that lists restaurants with an active offer, and platform-wide coupon codes. The web listing carries no Promoted or Sponsored labels, so a percentage badge, Free Delivery or No Min Order are the campaign signals a card carries. When a Ramadan campaign is set up for all branches and the Al Barsha outlet shows no badge, or 15% where 25% was intended, the only place that shows is the public card the customer sees; the branch just sells less.
Kitchain Promo captures EatEasy promotions once a day per location, on the same visit as the availability check, records what appeared, disappeared or changed value, and benchmarks the competitors visible in the same area. A missing expected offer raises a promo alert, and any past date can be reopened to see what was running. Promo already runs on EatEasy.

Where you rank in the EatEasy listing: Kitchain Visibility
Configured per account
EatEasy's restaurant search paginates 16 cards a page across 566 pages of UAE listings, with tabs for All, Restaurants, Cuisines and Dish, a city dropdown and cuisine landing pages such as /burger-food-delivery. A customer in Dubai filters by cuisine, delivery time, delivery fee or minimum order and rarely scrolls past the first page, so an outlet's EatEasy listing position decides whether it is seen at all. Every card above yours shows a rating where it has one, a discount badge, a quoted delivery time in minutes, a Free Delivery or No Min Order flag and payment options, and each of those is a reason for the customer to stop scrolling before reaching you.
Kitchain Visibility measures your rank in the whole EatEasy feed and within your cuisine from saved map points at set times of day, in the city's timezone, and records the competitor cards above you; it is not Google SEO. Visibility is set up per account for the UAE cities and platforms you name.

EatEasy delivery coverage by district: Kitchain Coverage
Configured per account
EatEasy publishes no delivery radius or zone rules, and a branch can be served by its own driver one month and an EatEasy rider the next, so a chain's EatEasy delivery zone in Dubai Marina can differ from the one in Al Nahda and change with nothing announced to customers. The card quotes a delivery time in minutes, and a customer in an outer district quoted far longer than the city average, or not shown the brand at all, orders elsewhere without head office knowing.
Kitchain Coverage measures, district by district, whether each brand is orderable on EatEasy and the delivery time it quotes, captured for the platform and hour you book against a monthly allowance; it is not continuous, sends no alerts, and the quoted time is what EatEasy shows, not the real delivery time. Coverage is booked per account for the UAE cities and hours that matter to you: tell us which.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give Kitchain access to the EatEasy merchant app or the merchant portal?
No. Kitchain works outside-in: it reads only the public pages, never signs in to the merchant app, the web portal or your POS, and cannot change anything on the platform. Setup takes about 10 minutes: one listing URL per outlet, the slug-based page a customer lands on, with no integrations.
How does a restaurant chain get listed on EatEasy, and what does it cost?
There is no self-serve sign-up. The Add Restaurant link in the site footer leads to a contact form with a List my restaurant option, and EatEasy's team follows up by email (support@eateasy.ae) or phone from its Jumeirah Lakes Towers office. Commission is not published, so the rate has to be agreed directly with EatEasy.
Does EatEasy offer paid placement or sponsored listings?
None that is publicly documented. EatEasy sells no self-serve placement product, so a chain's real levers are its own percentage offer, the platform coupon codes such as EASYFIRST50, and opting in to Easy Points; anything beyond that is negotiated with the EatEasy team. Kitchain Visibility records where a listing actually lands, whatever moved it.
Is EatEasy worth monitoring for a chain that mainly sells on Talabat and Deliveroo?
EatEasy is a smaller local challenger, but it has traded since 2011, lists thousands of outlets across all seven emirates and runs its own coupon and cashback campaigns. A branch that is silently offline or mispriced there loses orders no internal report shows; Kitchain adds it as one more listing per outlet on the same status board.
