About Keeta

Keeta is the international food-delivery brand of Meituan, the Beijing-based local-services group listed in Hong Kong (HKEX: 3690). Its consumer, merchant and rider apps are published by Kangaroo Limited, a Meituan subsidiary. Keeta launched in Hong Kong on 23 May 2023, was citywide by October that year and became the city's largest delivery platform by order volume within its first year, with roughly 44% of orders by May 2024. Hong Kong turned profitable in October 2025, and Keeta has no outside shareholders, joint ventures or acquisitions.

For a restaurant, Keeta is a marketplace with its own courier network: independent riders on the Keeta Rider app, not restaurant self-delivery. Merchants manage listings through the Keeta Partner app (Keeta parceiro in Brazil), which covers store information, menu management, operating hours, order handling, customer reviews and refunds in English, Arabic, Portuguese and Chinese, and through the web-based Keeta Manager Portal. New markets are opened with merchant schemes rather than published rates — in Bahrain, a temporary commission reduction for merchants with up to five outlets. Commission rates themselves are not public, and Keeta's contract terms drew a Hong Kong Competition Commission case; its first Brazilian contracts were reported to require exclusive couriers, mandatory promotions and menu-price freezes.

In Hong Kong, Keeta's commitments to drop price-parity clauses became binding when the Competition Commission accepted them in June 2026; under the same undertakings restaurants keep their lower-commission rewards while also listing on newer or smaller platforms. In Brazil, where Keeta holds about 5% of the Sao Paulo market against iFood's national dominance, it moved to four contract models in March 2026, and its own antitrust complaint against 99Food's exclusivity sits with CADE. Meituan reported Keeta Saudi Arabia monthly profitable from July 2026 and stable profit in Hong Kong, and said it will focus on existing markets for the rest of 2026.

Where Keeta operates

As of August 2026 Keeta runs restaurant delivery in seven markets. Hong Kong, its first and most mature market, is effectively a two-platform city with foodpanda. Saudi Arabia, with 23 cities, is the widest operation. Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE and Bahrain all launched since August 2025 against incumbent Talabat. Brazil is limited to the Sao Paulo metro and Baixada Santista; the Rio de Janeiro launch has been postponed.

No market has been exited as of August 2026; Oman was reported as a planned market in August 2025 but has not launched, and Meituan has signalled no new-country launches for the second half of 2026.

Kitchain on Keeta: six monitors, one outside-in method

Kitchain reads the same public Keeta pages a customer opens. There is no partner-portal login, no API key and no point-of-sale integration: you give us one listing per location, and each monitor reads what the customer is shown. Availability is checked about every 10 minutes per listing; ratings, promotions and menus are captured daily; listing position is measured at set times of day from real addresses; delivery coverage is captured for the platform and hour you book.

Keeta downtime and availability alerts: Kitchain Alert

Live on Keeta

Everything a manager sees of Keeta is the Partner app, and the Partner app cannot show a listing that has dropped out of search. A tablet left off after Saturday close looks normal internally too, while the customer sees nothing to order. In Saudi Arabia alone Keeta handled over 150 million orders in 2025 across 23 cities, so an hour offline at dinner is real money.

Kitchain Alert opens each location's public Keeta page about every 10 minutes, 24/7, and distinguishes a listing that is unavailable, missing from search, delivery-disabled, menu-blocked or shown closed against the hours you gave us. A confirmed alert reaches Email, WhatsApp or Telegram 10–20 minutes after the location goes offline, and the incident timeline records exact start and end times per location. Our KSA and UAE downtime reports show what those hours add up to market-wide.

Keeta rating tracking: Kitchain Rating

Live on Keeta

Keeta rating monitoring starts from one fact: the platform is young in most of its markets, so a Qatar or Bahrain location that joined at launch may still sit on a few dozen reviews, where one bad week moves the score visibly, while a Riyadh branch with nearly two years of orders barely twitches. The Keeta Partner app shows each branch its own customer reviews, but nobody sees forty branches side by side.

Kitchain Rating collects the rating and review count Keeta displays publicly for every location, daily, and keeps the history. A needs-attention list ranks locations under your target, and the trend view dates the week a slide began, so it lines up against a packaging change or a new opening. The platform comparison sets the same kitchen's Keeta score beside HungerStation in Saudi Arabia or Talabat in the other Gulf states, and shows whether a gap is one branch or the whole estate. Kitchain never reads or replies to review text.

Keeta promotion monitoring: Kitchain Promo

Live on Keeta

Keeta leans hardest on promotions when it enters a market: heavy consumer coupons and free delivery in the Gulf launches, large welcome coupons in Brazil, and promotions that were reportedly mandatory under its first Brazilian contracts. What a customer sees on your Keeta card is therefore a mix of platform funding and your own discount, and only the listing itself tells you which are live.

Kitchain Promo captures the promotions visible on each location's Keeta listing once a day, on the same visit as the availability check, and records 'no promotions today' as a fact. The change feed shows what appeared, disappeared or changed value since yesterday, so a weekend offer that went live on Talabat and Careem but never showed on Keeta is a hole in the grid rather than a quiet week, and the benchmark shows who in your area is discounting deeper.

Where you rank in the Keeta listing: Kitchain Visibility

Keeta listing position is set by the platform's own ordering: Keeta publishes no sponsored-listing or ads product for restaurants, and the visible placement lever is its in-app campaign pages featuring selected restaurants, such as Hong Kong's 30 April to 13 May 2026 campaign; the Keeta Partner app also runs a 'gold medal merchants' programme. With 50,000+ partner restaurants across 23 Saudi cities, feed position is a per-city question: a customer in one district scrolls past three competitors before reaching you, one two kilometres away sees you first, and a city-wide average hides both.

Kitchain Visibility measures your position in the Keeta feed from saved map points at set times of day in the city's own timezone, in the whole feed and within your cuisine, and records the competitor cards above you. Measured before and after, it tells you whether a place on a campaign page changed anything. It is not Google SEO. Visibility is set up per account for the Keeta cities and brands you name.

Keeta delivery coverage by district: Kitchain Coverage

Keeta delivery zone rules are not published, and because the platform runs its own courier network rather than restaurant self-delivery, where a branch is orderable and what wait a customer is quoted depend on Keeta's riders, not yours. Keeta reports an average delivery time of about 30 minutes in Saudi Arabia and backs it with an On-time Promise that compensates late orders, and a zone at the edge of a branch's reach can quietly stop being offered at Friday dinner.

Kitchain Coverage captures, zone by zone, whether a brand is orderable on Keeta and the delivery time the platform quotes there, for the platform and hour you book against a monthly allowance. It is not continuous and sends no alerts: a Sunday-lunch capture tells you about Sunday lunch, and the quoted time is what Keeta showed the customer, not how long the order took. Coverage is set up per account for the cities and platforms you name, so tell us where.

Frequently asked questions

Which Keeta markets can Kitchain monitor?

Kitchain monitors a Keeta listing from its public page, so the same setup works in every one of Keeta's seven active markets, from Hong Kong to Sao Paulo. Alert, Rating, Promo and Menu already run on Keeta; Visibility and Coverage are configured per account. Setup takes about 10 minutes: one Keeta restaurant ID or listing URL per location, no integrations.

Does Kitchain need access to the Keeta Partner app or the Keeta Manager Portal?

No. Kitchain is an outside-in monitor: it opens the same public Keeta pages a customer opens and never signs in to the Keeta Partner app, the Keeta Manager Portal, your POS or any middleware. It cannot bring a location back online, change a price or restore a promotion; it tells you, with timestamps, what the customer is seeing.

Can Kitchain compare our Keeta listing with Talabat, HungerStation or Jahez?

Yes. Keeta is one of 40+ platforms Kitchain monitors, and every product shows the same location across platforms: uptime per platform, the same kitchen's rating on Keeta beside its rating elsewhere, promotions that are live on one app and missing on another, and the price of one item wherever it is listed. That comparison is usually where a Keeta-specific problem first shows.

Does Kitchain track Keeta commission rates or contract terms?

No. Keeta does not publish its rates and Kitchain never sees your contract. What it can show is the outcome on the public listing: whether your Keeta prices differ from HungerStation's, whether that difference is deliberate at every branch or an update that missed some, and whether a promotion you agreed to run is actually showing.

Facts about Keeta are as of August 2026 and drawn from public company and press sources. Markets, ownership and partner tools change; confirm with Keeta before relying on them. Kitchain is independent of Keeta and reads only its public customer-facing pages.
