Monitor Your Restaurants on Noon Food in the UAE

Noon Food is the restaurant tab inside noon, the Dubai-run e-commerce super-app: a customer picks a zone on food.noon.com or in the app and orders from the outlet cards it lists. Restaurants get a partner portal for hours, discounts and ads. Kitchain monitors all of it from the customer's side, without an account.

About Noon Food

Noon Food is the food-delivery vertical of noon, the e-commerce group run from Dubai by Mohamed Alabbar with Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. The service was announced in February 2021 with a rollout planned from March 2021, Dubai first and then Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. There is no standalone consumer app: restaurants appear as a tab inside the main noon app and on the web at food.noon.com, next to noon Minutes, NowNow and noon Grocery. As of August 2026 noon is privately held, with PIF owning about 50% and an IPO said to be planned within about two years after a USD 500m raise in December 2025.

For restaurants it is a UAE marketplace with noon's own fleet. Partners set opening hours in the noon Food Partner web portal only, and can put an outlet on Busy or create discounts and cost-per-click or banner ads from the portal or the app. Customers see a card with rating and review count, quoted delivery window, delivery fee and discount badges. Advertised commission in August 2026 is 25% on delivery, 0% on self-pickup. Dubai SME members (Emirati-owned F&B SMEs) pay 10% in year one rising to 20% by year five under a five-year partnership agreed in April 2026. A 'Local Supports Local' offer of 0% commission (a 2% payment-gateway fee only) for newly onboarded local restaurants ran to 30 April 2026; terms since are unpublished.

Kitchain watches Noon Food the way a customer does: it opens the public outlet and zone pages on food.noon.com and records what they show, without logging in to the partner portal or touching orders. For a chain that means an outside-in record of whether each branch is orderable, what it is rated, which discounts a customer actually sees and what the menu costs, across every UAE location in one place. The Noon Food monitoring guide explains setup in more detail; it takes about 10 minutes with one listing URL per location.

Where Noon Food operates

As of August 2026 Noon Food's own restaurant marketplace runs in a single country, the United Arab Emirates, where it launched in 2021. Storefront zones on food.noon.com cover Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Al Ain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah, and the partner page claims 26,000+ restaurant partners. The saudi-en and egypt-en storefronts still exist, but only as template pages with no zones or restaurants.

noon Food's own Saudi marketplace, running since 2021, was wound down from January 2026 and removed from the noon app by April 2026 in favour of Jahez on noon; Egypt, announced in 2021 for a 2022 launch, never went live.

Kitchain on Noon Food: six monitors, one outside-in method

Kitchain reads the same public Noon Food pages a customer opens. There is no partner-portal login, no API key and no point-of-sale integration: you give us one listing per location, and each monitor reads what the customer is shown. Availability is checked about every 10 minutes per listing; ratings, promotions and menus are captured daily; listing position is measured at set times of day from real addresses; delivery coverage is captured for the platform and hour you book.

Noon Food downtime and availability alerts: Kitchain Alert

Live on Noon Food

Noon Food downtime rarely looks like downtime from head office. In the noon Food Partner portal an outlet can be Open, Busy, Closed as per schedule or Shutdown by noon's team, and a branch left on Busy after a rush stops selling until somebody checks the customer app. On food.noon.com the customer sees the outlet as unavailable or does not find it in the zone listing, and orders move to the next card. Kitchain opens that same public page for every location about every 10 minutes, 24/7, and alerts you by Email, WhatsApp or Telegram 10–20 minutes after a location goes offline, after a confirmation check.

Alerts follow each outlet's own hours, so a branch closed on schedule is not an incident, but one shown closed while your schedule says open is. The incident timeline keeps start, end and duration per location as evidence for a compensation claim, and the daily report at 10:00 local time ranks the worst branches. The UAE delivery downtime report shows the wider picture.

Noon Food rating tracking: Kitchain Rating

Live on Noon Food

On Noon Food the rating is the first thing on the listing card: a star icon with a numeric score and the review count in brackets, 4.6 (500+) next to 3.6 (20). That count decides how hard the score is to move, because 500 reviews absorb a bad week and 20 do not. Kitchain collects the publicly shown rating and review count for every location daily, so Noon Food rating monitoring becomes a history rather than a screenshot: a branch drifting from 4.4 to 4.0 over six weeks shows as a slope with a start date, to line up against a packaging or supplier change.

The partner tools show an overall rating compared with the last three months; Kitchain adds the other half, the same location on Talabat, Deliveroo or Careem side by side. A gap that is consistent across every branch on one platform points at delivery or packaging, not the kitchen. Kitchain never reads review text and cannot change a score.

Noon Food promotion monitoring: Kitchain Promo

Live on Noon Food

Noon Food promotions are easy for a customer to see and hard for a chain to keep track of. Discount badges such as 30% off up to AED 20 sit on the listing card, outlet pages carry promo codes like TASTY30 and Free Delivery banners, and in the partner portal a chain can create its own discounts, 100% funded by the restaurant, or opt in to ones suggested by noon Food. What is showing at each branch today has no single answer inside the portal.

Kitchain captures the promotions visible on each location's public page once a day, on the same visit as the availability check, along with competitor discounts in the same zone. The change feed shows what appeared, disappeared or changed value since yesterday, so a 30% offer meant for twelve Dubai branches that shows at nine is a hole in a grid, not a quiet week. Kitchain does not create or edit discounts, and an offer that comes and goes within one day can be missed.

Where you rank in the Noon Food listing: Kitchain Visibility

Noon Food is browsed by zone: a customer in Downtown opens the zone page and scrolls a stack of listing cards, each with a rating, a quoted delivery window and any discount badge, and where your card falls decides whether it is seen at all. Restaurants are also only one tab inside the noon super-app, so a brand competes for the first screen of a zone feed while the app's other verticals compete for the same session. Nothing in the partner tools says where the organic card lands, or which brands sit above it and what their cards offer.

Kitchain Visibility measures your Noon Food listing position from saved map points at set times of day, in the city's timezone, as whole-feed rank and rank within your cuisine, together with the competitor cards shown above you. This is the platform's own ordering, not Google. Visibility is configured per account for the cities and platforms you name; tell us which UAE zones and brands matter and they are set up.

Noon Food delivery coverage by district: Kitchain Coverage

Noon Food's fees point to distance tiers rather than a hard radius: the help centre lists a location-based delivery fee, a service fee, a small-order fee below the restaurant's minimum and a faraway fee for ordering from a restaurant that is not near you. So a branch in Sharjah may be orderable from a distant zone at a price nobody accepts, or missing from that zone at Friday dinner. The card quotes a delivery window of 20–30 mins, and that range decides whether the customer scrolls on.

Kitchain Coverage records, zone by zone in the UAE cities you choose, whether your brand is available to order and the delivery time the platform quotes, captured for the platform and hour you book. It is not continuous and sends no alerts, and the quoted time is what noon shows, not the real delivery time. Coverage runs per account: tell us the UAE cities and the hours that matter, and the Noon Food zone captures are booked against your monthly allowance.

Frequently asked questions

Does Kitchain track the noon Food tab in the noon app as well as food.noon.com?

Kitchain reads the public web storefront, food.noon.com — the same marketplace the noon app tab sells from, and it opens without an account. Each location is added by its listing URL, so nothing is installed on a phone and no orders are placed on either surface.

We buy cost-per-click and banner ads on Noon Food. Can Kitchain show what they return?

Not the spend side: impressions, clicks and click-through rate stay in the partner portal, which Kitchain never opens. What it adds is the outside view: the position your listing actually takes in a zone at the hours you pick, the rivals a customer meets before reaching you, and whether the badge you paid to push shows at every branch.

Our chain also sold through noon Food in Saudi Arabia. What should we monitor there now?

Not noon Food. Its own marketplace there closed during 2026, and restaurant orders in the noon app are now handled by 'Jahez on noon', so the Jahez listings are what a Saudi branch needs watched. The Foodics link to noon Food is effectively UAE-only for the same reason.

Is the advertised commission what a chain actually pays?

Not necessarily. The 25% is a marketing-page figure; contractual rates for chains are not published, and nor are the terms of the 'noon One restaurant' tier that promises lower commissions or what replaced 'Local Supports Local' after 30 April 2026. Dine-in bill payment through noon Out is charged separately, at 3% of the net bill.

Facts about Noon Food are as of August 2026 and drawn from public company and press sources. Markets, ownership and partner tools change; confirm with Noon Food before relying on them. Kitchain is independent of Noon Food and reads only its public customer-facing pages.
